The Timeline view is a chronological history of the places you’ve visited and the days you’ve logged.
Each day in the timeline can include:
places you visited along with your rating
people in those visits
photos in those visits
cities of your visits
your total Footprints for the day
newly explored Footprints shown in parentheses
This gives you a day-by-day view of where you’ve been and what you did.
Timeline Filters
You can filter the timeline days in many ways.
First you can filter by location
Current Location: filter for days where you were at your exact location, either visiting a place, or logging a footprint.
Cities: filter days you were in a specific city or multiple cities.
Everywhere: show all days, basically don't filter by location.
Then there are other filters related to your visits. You can filter by:
People
Ratings
Place category
You can combine filters together to narrow down exactly what you want to explore.
Examples:
the days you went to restaurants with your mom
the days you visited favorite cafés in New York
the days you went to movie theaters with your friend Chris
the days you went to a city or cities
Timeline Search
You can additionally search your days and visits using the search field at the bottom.
This will search based on all of the filters above but also search by place name as well as the notes you attached to your visits.
